CALIFORNIA National Parks (Death Valley & Yosemite Park)

Hello everyone, last post on American parks, today California National Parks, here you can find the previous ones on the state of Utah and Arizona.
First stop Death Valley, which I understood why they call it that, the day I went it reached 53°C, but I must say that compared to how hot I suffer even if it is only 30°C, there is a dry heat, it dries you up completely and in fact we visited it by getting out and in the car as fast as we can. Desolation, in the void, long, endless roads with practically nothing, almost like being in the desert and every now and then you only see a mailbox without seeing the house and you wonder who is it that comes to live there?
And in fact, while we were there we also made a small detour to Nevada to see a Rhyolite ghost town, a bit like finding yourself in a movie set of a western movie.

Ciao a tutti, ultimo post sui parchi americani, oggi California National Parks, qui potete trovare quelli precedenti sullo stato dello Utah e dell'Arizona.
Prima tappa Death Valley, che ho capito perché la chiamano così, il giorno in cui sono andata raggiungeva i 53°C, ma devo dire che rispetto a quanto soffro il caldo anche solo se ci sono 30°C, lì è un caldo secco, ti prosciuga completamente e difatti l'abbiamo visitato scendendo e salendo in macchina stando il meno possibile fuori. La desolazione, nel nulla, strade lunghe, infinite senza praticamente niente, quasi come essere nel deserto e ogni tanto vedi solo una cassetta della posta senza vedere la casa e ti chiedi ma chi è che viene a vivere qui?
E infatti mentre c'eravamo abbiamo fatto anche una piccola deviazione in Nevada a vedere una città fantasma Rhyolite, un pò come ritrovarsi in un set cinematografico di un film western.

A stop found along the way is Mono Lake, a very nice lake perhaps little known but perfect for stopping along the way, a nice quiet walk.

Tappa scovata lungo la strada è il Mono Lake, un lago molto carino forse poco conosciuto ma perfetto per fare tappa lungo il percorso, una bella passeggiata tranquilla.

Final stages of the trip: Yosemite National Park and Grizzly Giant (the giant sequoia), I would have liked to go to Sequoia National Park too but we needed to have more time. I really liked the Mariposa Grove in which the Grizzly Giant, the giant sequoia, is located, the nature is amazing, seeing how big and tall the sequoias are, it's incredible.
On the other hand, the Yosemite National Park I could not admire it in the right way, because of road works that made us waste time, when we arrived there we had the hours counted and so we took a super fast ride around the visitor center, a distant view of El Capitan without having the possibility to climb it and then to San Francisco which I have already told you about in another post.
An incredible journey, one of the most beautiful of my life, I found myself loving nature even more the large American cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Obviously there are many other parks in these areas that I could see and in the rest of the other American states that I hope to see soon, this is only a very small part, but I hope it will be useful for you. Sorry for the many photos of the trip I hope you liked it, if you want follow me on the various social networks to be continuously inspired by my travels. Hoping we can return to travel freely without too many restrictions as soon as possible, to the next trip. 😊

Tappe finali del viaggio: lo Yosemite National Park e Grizzly Giant (la sequoia gigante), mi sarebbe piaciuto andare anche al Sequoia National Park ma dovevamo avere più tempo. Il Mariposa Grove nel quale si trova il Grizzly Giant, la sequoia gigante, mi è piaciuto davvero tanto, è incredibile quanto sia spettacolare la natura in se, vedere quanto sono grandi e alti le sequoie, incredibili.
Invece lo Yosemite National Park non ho potuto ammirarlo nel modo giusto, causa lavori sulla strada che ci hanno fatto perder tempo, e arrivati lì avevamo le ore contate e quindi giro super veloce attorno al centro visitatori, vista da lontano di El Capitan senza aver avuto la possibilità di scalarlo e poi direzione San Francisco di cui vi ho già parlato in un altro post.
Un viaggio incredibile, uno dei più belli della mia vita, mi sono ritrovata ad amare ancora di più la natura a discapito delle grandi città americane come Los Angeles e San Francisco.
Ovviamente ci sono tanti altri parchi in queste zone che potevo vedere e nel resto degli altri stati americani che spero di poter vedere presto, questa è solo una piccolissima parte, ma spero vi possa esser utile. Scusatemi per le tantissime foto del viaggio spero che vi siano piaciute, se volete seguitemi sui vari social per essere continuamente ispirati dai miei viaggi. Sperando si possa tornare a viaggiare liberamente senza troppe restrizioni al più presto, al prossimo viaggio. 😊
