Windsor Castle

Hi everybody, how are you? Continue my little way of making you travel the world only through the use of the mind, thanks to my photos. Today I take you to Windsor Castle, one of the most famous royal residences in England. Unfortunately I only show you some photos from outside, because when I went I was not allowed to take photos inside (and I don't think the situation has changed), but in the end I would say that it is also the most beautiful, interesting part, because for how beautiful it is also inside and I would have liked to take many photos, like my usual one, many rooms are the classic rooms that you see in other residences, with their paintings and furnishings from another era.
The castle is included in the London Pass in case you purchased it, otherwise it costs around £25, Windsor is not too far from London and the most convenient way to go it is by train, for a journey of about 1 hour. If you don't have the London Pass, you can buy the ticket online or directly there at the ticket office, but in all cases it is better to get there early given the queues and checks that you have to do at the entrance. The ticket includes the audio guide in different languages that will guide you inside the visit of the castle and the church where Harry and Meghan got married and depending on the period in which you go you can admire particular exhibitions, in my case I could admire the clothes of their wedding. Unfortunately I went through a scheduled tour and having other stages to do on that day, I was not able to fully enjoy this castle with the right time, but I absolutely recommend it. Also one thing that I was sorry not to see is the changing of the guard in front of the church at 11 a.m., but before going check that there is that day, because I think it's worth it.

Ciao a tutti, come state? Continua il mio piccolo modo di farvi viaggiare per il mondo solo attraverso l'uso della mente grazie alle mie foto. Oggi vi porto al Castello di Windsor, una delle residenze reali più famose d'Inghilterra. Purtroppo vi mostro solo alcune foto da fuori, perchè quando sono andata non era permesso di fare le foto al suo interno (e non penso che la situazione sia cambiata), ma alla fine direi che è anche la parte più bella, interessante, perchè per quanto sia bello anche all'interno e avrei voluto fare tantissime foto, come il mio solito, si può dire che molte stanze sono le classiche sale che vedi anche in altre residenze, con i loro dipinti e l'arredamento di un'altra epoca.
Il castello è compreso nel London Pass nel caso l'aveste acquistato, altrimenti ha un costo di circa 25£, Windsor non è troppo distante da Londra e il mezzo più comodo da usare per raggiungerlo è tramite il treno, per un viaggio di circa 1 oretta. Se non avete il London Pass, potete acquistare il biglietto online o direttamente lì in biglietteria, ma in tutti i casi vi conviene arrivare presto visto le code e i controlli che dovrete fare all'ingresso. Nel biglietto è compresa l'audioguida in diverse lingue che vi guiderà all'interno della visita del castello e della chiesa in cui si sono sposati Harry e Meghan e a seconda del periodo in cui andate potrete ammirare delle esposizioni particolari, nel mio caso ho potuto ammirare gli abiti del loro matrimonio. Purtroppo io sono andata attraverso una gita programmata e avendo altre tappe da fare in quel giorno, non ho potuto godere appieno e con i giusti tempi questo castello, ma lo consiglio assolutamente. Inoltre una cosa che mi è dispiaciuto non vedere è il cambio della guardia davanti alla chiesa alle 11, ma prima di andare controllate che ci sia quel giorno, perchè secondo me ne vale la pena.
