Weekend in Provence

Hello everyone, today post dedicated to my trip in Provence, a different weekend than usual, a trip you should do between June and July to make sure you admire the lavender fields. Obviously it all depends on where you live, otherwise two days will not be enough to reach the various places and return home, but if you have the opportunity it is an "escape" from the reality that I recommend.
Let's start with the first stop: the Abbey of Senanque, beautiful especially with the lavender fields, which can be visited internally by paying, but free if admired only externally as I did.

Ciao a tutti, oggi post dedicato al mio viaggio in Provenza, un weekend diverso dal solito, un viaggio che vi conviene fare tra giugno e luglio per essere sicuri di ammirare i campi di lavanda. Ovviamente tutto dipende da dove abitate, altrimenti non vi basteranno due giorni per raggiungere i vari luoghi e ritornare a casa, ma se ne avete l'opportunità è una "fuga" dalla realtà che vi consiglio.
Iniziamo con la prima tappa: l'Abbazia di Senanque, bellissima specialmente con i campi di lavanda, visitabile internamente pagando, ma gratuita se ammirata solo esternamente come ho fatto io.

Abbey of Senanque
Second stop, right next to the abbey is the town of Gordes, very pretty with its castle and really special if seen it from afar on its hill, don't you find? A perfect spot to take photos.

Seconda tappa, subito accanto all'abbazia è la cittadina di Gordes, molto carina con il suo castello e davvero particolare se vista da lontano sulla sua collina, non trovate? Un punto perfetto in cui scattare delle foto.

Then we move on to Roussillon, another very pretty and colorful city, famous for the ocre path, a beautiful walking route, in a short or long version, at the modest cost of € 2.5. You will not regret it, it seems to be in some American canyons, but I suggest you to go with closed shoes or with shoes that you don't care because they will be filled with red soil.

Successivamente passiamo a Roussillon, un'altra città molto carina e colorata, famosa per il sentiero delle ocre, un bellissimo percorso a piedi, in versione corta o lunga, al modesto costo di 2,5 €. Non ve ne pentirete sembra di essere in qualche canyon americano, però vi consiglio di andare con delle scarpe chiuse o a cui tenete poco perché si riempiranno di terra rossa.

A further and fundamental stop of this journey are the lavender and sunflower fields around the town of Valensole, beautiful especially at certain times of the day (at sunrise or at sunset).
There is no field more special than another, maybe you accidentally find them along the way and you will take 10,000 photos from any imaginable angle as I did, the important thing is to enjoy the journey and the infinite beauty of the landscapes. Ulteriore e fondamentale tappa di questo viaggio sono i campi di lavanda e di girasoli nei dintorni della città di Valensole, bellissimi specialmente in alcune ore del giorno (all'alba o al tramonto).
Non esiste un campo più speciale di un altro, magari li scovate per sbaglio lungo il tragitto e scatterete 10000 foto da qualsiasi angolo possibile immaginabile come ho fatto io, l'importante è godersi il viaggio e la bellezza infinita dei paesaggi. Cosa ne pensate delle foto, vi viene voglia di correre in mezzo a questi campi?

Last stop on this trip are the Verdon Gorges, incredible, especially when viewed it from a different angle, in fact I recommend you to rent the canoe and admire the gorges from the river, a unique experience and with a super low budget, in fact we rented a canoe with 3 seats for 1h and 1/2 and it only cost us € 10 each. Ultima tappa di questo viaggio sono le Gole del Verdon, incredibili, specialmente se viste da una diversa angolazione, infatti vi consiglio di affittare la canoa ed ammirare le gole dal fiume, un'esperienza unica e ad un budget super contenuto, infatti abbiamo affittato una canoa con 3 posti per 1h e 1/2 e ci è costato solo 10 € a testa. Cosa ne pensate? Vi piacerebbe intraprendere questa avventura?

Extra step, if you are passing through, is the lake: Savines-le-Lac, gigantic and very beautiful, where you can stop for lunch or rest for a moment.
