Hello everyone, today stop in Monte Carlo, or it's better to say Monaco, where wealth is at the base of everything and despite it's a beautiful city in which you should spend a day, maybe you will not be able to fully appreciate it, maybe you'll feel a bit out of place like myself.
If I think of Monte Carlo I thinks about the casinos, the yachts, the grand prizes and beautiful cars, all things not for everyone, but if you pass by and want to spend a day in the city without opening a mortgage, here are some advice on what to see.
First of all, the Principality of Monaco is famous for the royals, so you can not miss the visit of the Royal Palace, even only from the outside and maybe just at the time of the changing of the guard (12 hours). To get there you have to climb, but at least you can enjoy the view from the top of the city.
Not far from there visit the Cathedral of St. Nicholas where many royals are buried including the famous Grace of Monaco.
Next stop if you have kids or you like animals is the Oceanographic, near the cathedral, where you can admire many different species of fish, jellyfish, octopus and more. I don't know about you but I'm fascinated by the jellyfish, so beautiful and dangerous at the same time. And if you visit it, go up to the top of the structure, for another view of the city.

Ciao a tutti, oggi tappa a Monte Carlo, o meglio Monaco, dove la ricchezza è alla base di tutto e nonostante sia un bella città in cui trascorrere una giornata, forse non riuscirete ad apprezzarla a pieno, magari vi sentirete un pò fuori posto come me.
Se penso a Monte Carlo mi vengono in mente i casinò, gli yacht, il grand premio e le belle macchine, tutte cose non alla portata di tutti, ma se passate di lì e volete trascorrere una giornata per la città senza aprire un mutuo ecco qualche consiglio su cosa vedere.
Prima di tutto il Principato di Monaco è famoso per i reali, quindi non potete farvi mancare la visita del Palazzo Reale, anche solo da fuori e magari proprio nel momento del cambio della guardia (ore 12). Per arrivarci dovrete fare una salita, ma almeno potrete godere della vista dall'alto della città.
Non lontano da lì fate un salto a visitare la Cattedrale di San Nicola in cui sono sepolti molti reali tra le quali la famosa Grace di Monaco.
Prossima tappa se avete bambini o vi piacciono gli animali è l'Oceanografico, vicino alla cattedrale, dove ammirare tantissime specie diverse di pesci, meduse, polipi e altro ancora. Non so voi ma mi affascina vedere le meduse, così belle e pericolose allo stesso tempo. E se ci andate salite fino su in cima alla struttura, per un'altra veduta dall'alto della città.

Spostandosi verso il centro, fatevi un giro nel porto e se andate nel periodo invernale avrete la fortuna di vedere i mercati di Natale, la ruota panoramica e la pista di pattinaggio.
Proseguite verso il fulcro più famoso della città quella degli Hotel (come l'Hotel de Paris) e dei Casinò e sarete immersi nell'atmosfera natalizia della città. Se volete potete entrare nei casinò senza essere obbligati a giocare, sbirciare nelle vetrine dei negozi di lusso sentendoti come la piccola fiammiferaia e passeggiare tra le vie.

Another stop that I recommend is the Japanese garden, really nice and free and it is above the underground parking that respect other is cheap and I recommend you to park in it.

Altra tappa che vi consiglio è il giardino giapponese, davvero bello e gratuito e per di più si trova sopra dei parcheggi sotterranei che tutto sommato sono economici e in cui vi consiglio di parcheggiare.
