Hi everyone, today stop in Portugal, more precisely Lisbon, a beautiful city, even more beautiful with sunny days. Lisbon is a city full of places, monuments, palaces and museums to see and it would serve many days to see everything, so here you will find the most important places to not missed, but before you start I would recommend buying the Lisboa Card valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours, with it you can access free to many attractions or have some discounts and you also have unlimited access to public transport: metro, train and of course the famous trams 🚋.

But we start this trip with the Belem Tower, one of Lisbon's symbols, a beautiful monumental tower on the sea, a bit off the center, but can be reached by train or tram more a bit of a walk. The tower is included in the Lisboa Card, but like other monuments are free on the first Sunday of the month.
Next to the Tower you can admire and climb the Monument to the Discoveries (Padrao dos Descobrimentos) and admire the area from above, as well as the famous 25 de Abril bridge that look like the Golden Bridge of San Francisco.
From there, take the underpass and you will arrive in an area rich of museums: the museum of the marina, the carriages, Berardo Collection, electricity, the MAAT and many others who unfortunately I didn't visit for the short time available but many of these are free or discounted with the Lisboa Card.
In the same area you can not miss the Monastery dos Jerónimos and the church beside it, free with the Card and the first sunday of the month.
Finally not far from there you need to taste the specialty of the place: the Pasteis de Nada, in the famous Pasteis de Belem store, delicious, especially when they are still warm, a mix of pastry cream and catalan cream, absolutely to try and try again (you find them also in other stores in Lisbon).
Be careful that these monuments are closed on monday as well as others.

Ciao a tutti, oggi tappa in Portogallo, più precisamente Lisbona, una città bellissima, ancora più bella nei giorni di sole. Lisbona è una città ricca di luoghi, monumenti, palazzi e musei da vedere e servirebbe tantissimi giorni per vedere tutto, perciò qui troverete i luoghi più importanti da non perdersi, ma prima di iniziare vi consiglio di acquistare la Lisboa Card valida per 24, 48 o 72 ore, vi permette di accedere gratuitamente a molte attrazioni o di avere alcuni sconti ed inoltre avete accesso illimitati ai mezzi pubblici: metro, treno e ovviamente i famosi tram 🚋.

Ma iniziamo questo viaggio con la Torre di Belem, uno dei simboli di Lisbona, una torre sul mare, bellissima monumentale, un pò fuori dal centro, ma raggiungibile tramite treno o tram più un pezzettino a piedi. La torre è compresa nella Lisboa Card, ma come altri monumenti è gratuita la prima domenica del mese.
Vicino alla Torre potete ammirare e salire sul Monumento alla Scoperta (Padrao dos Descobrimentos) ed ammirare la zona dall'alto, così come il famoso ponte 25 aprile che assomiglia tantissimo al Golden Bridge di San Francisco.
Da lì prendete il sottopassaggio e vi troverete in una zona ricca di musei: museo della marina, delle carrozze, Berardo Collection, dell'elettricità, il MAAT e molti altri che sfortunatamente non ho visitato per il poco tempo a disposizione, ma molti di questi sono gratuiti o scontati sempre con la Lisboa Card.
Nella stessa zona non potete perdervi il Monastero dos Jerónimos e la chiesa accanto ad essa, gratis con la Card e la prima domenica del mese.
Infine poco distante da lì non potete non assaggiare la specialità del luogo i Pasteis de Nada, nel famoso negozio Pasteis de Belem, buonissimi, soprattutto quando sono ancora caldi, un mix tra crema pasticcera e crema catalana, assolutamente da provare e riprovare (li trovate in giro in tutta Lisbona).
Fate attenzione che questi monumenti sono chiusi al lunedì, così come altri in giro per Lisbona.

Let us move to the center in the famous Praca do Commercio, a huge and beautiful square with its monumental Arch which you can climb, positioned at the beginning of one of the main streets: Rua Augusta, which leads to Rossio Square, also this really beautiful. But before moving to that square, go up to the famous Tram 28E, go uphill on the hills or just pass the time in front of the Cathedral (after having seen it internally) and try to catch the time of the tram that passes in front of the cathedral, taking thousands of photos, hoping nobody will walk in front of you right at that moment.
Then continue the tour in the center, the neighborhoods, climb on the Elevador de Santa Justa or if there are so much people walking up and then get off with the elevator to try it anyway. In both cases, at the top, look at the fantastic view of the city from the top, the Rossio Square and then go to the Convento do Carmo, partially destroyed by an earthquake and just for this beautiful, magical.

Spostiamoci in centro nella famosa Praca do Commercio, un'enorme e bellissima piazza, con il suo monumentale Arco su cui è possibile salire, posizionato all'inizio di una delle vie principali: Rua Augusta che conduce a Piazza Rossio, anche questa davvero bella. Ma prima di spostarci verso quella piazza salite sul famoso Tram 28E, girate a vuoto, perdetevi su e giù sulle colline o semplicemente passate del tempo davanti alla Cattedrale (dopo averla vista internamente) e cercate di cogliere il momento del tram che passa davanti alla cattedrale scattando migliaia di foto, sperando che nessuno ti passi davanti proprio in quel momento.
Successivamente continuate il giro nel centro, per i quartieri, salite sull'ascensore di Santa Justa o se c'è tanta gente salite a piedi e poi scendete con l'ascensore per provare comunque l'emozione. In tutti e due i casi arrivati in cima osservate la fantastica vista della città dall'alto, della Piazza Rossio e poi andate a visitare il Convento do Carmo, distrutto parzialmente da un terremoto e proprio per questo bellissimo, magico.

Another panoramic point of interest is the Sao Jorge Castle, beautiful for both the view and the structure itself and the meetings you could do along the way. Inside the castle you will find beautiful peacocks a few inches from you, incredible, free to do what they want.

Un altro punto panoramico e luogo d'interesse da vedere è il Castello di Sao Jorge, bello sia per la vista, sia per la struttura in se e gli incontri che potresti fare lungo la visita. Infatti all'interno del castello troverete bellissimi pavoni anche a pochi centimetri da voi, incredibili, liberi di fare ciò che vogliono.

Another important area to not missed is the Parque das Nacoes near the tower and the Vasco de Gama bridge, the MEO Arena and the Oceanographic (soon many photos), which can be reached by metro or train in the beautiful station designed by Calatrava: Oriente Station. I recommend you absolutely to see. Walk along the park, breathe the air, take some sunshine, visit the Oceanographic and take a ride on the telecabine connecting Oceanographic to the tower, a great experience if you don't have dizziness.

Altra zona importante da non perdere è il Parque das Nacoes vicino alla torre e il ponte Vasco de Gama, la MEO Arena e l'Oceanografico (presto tante foto), raggiungibile tramite la metro o i treno nella bellissima stazione progettata da Calatrava: Oriente Station. che vi consiglio assolutamente di vedere. Passeggiate il lungo il parco, respirate l'aria, prendete un pò di sole, visitate l'Oceanografico e fate un giro sulla teleferica che collega l'Oceanografico alla Torre, una bella esperienza se non soffrite di vertigini.

As mentioned above there are so many other things to visit as churches at all corners, museums, or simply lifts such as the elevador da Bica to take to climb up the hill, or palaces a bit around the city but you should have a lot more time, but before I leave you I recommend the Mercado da Ribeira near Praca do Commercio to eat once, maybe at lunchtime. There are many different types of kitchens in one place and the structure is beautiful even only to see or to savor the aromas.

Come già accennato ci sono tante altre cose da visitare come chiese a tutti gli angoli, musei, o semplicemente ascensori come l'elevador da Bica da prendere per salire lungo la collina, o Palazzi un pò in giro per tutta la città ma bisognerebbe avere molto più tempo, ma prima di lasciarvi vi consiglio il Mercado da Ribeira vicino alla Praca do Commercio per mangiare una volta, magari a pranzo. Tantissimi tipi diversi di cucine in un unico luogo e la struttura è bellissima anche solo da vedere o per assaporare gli aromi.
