Hello everyone, today Madrid and Toledo.

Let's start with Madrid, a Spanish city very different from Barcelona, ​​no sea, no Gaudi, but still beautiful. Between the two I prefer Barcelona, ​​but in the end I liked it. There is a large park: the Retiro Park where there is the Crystal Palace, a greenhouse made ​​of glass and steel. In the center there is a main square Puerta del Sol where there is the symbol of Madrid: a bear with a tree and the main shopping streets. Also another important square is the Plaza Mayor not far from Puerta del Sol. As in all monarchical states also in Madrid there is a Royal Palace and in front of it the cathedral and on a hill near there, there is an egyptian temple: Templo de Debod.

Incominciamo con Madrid, una città spagnola molto diversa da Barcellona, niente mare, niente Gaudì, ma comunque bella. Tra le due preferisco Barcellona, ma alla fine mi è piaciuta. E' costituita da un grande parco: il parco del Retiro dove si trova il Crystal Palace, una specie di serra costituita da vetro e acciaio. Il centro è individuato da una piazza principale Puerta del Sol su cui si trova il simbolo di Madrid: un orso con un albero e su cui si sviluppano le vie principali dello shopping e un'altra importante piazza è anche Plaza Mayor. Come in tutti gli stati monarchici anche a Madrid si trova il Palazzo Reale e davanti ad esso la cattedrale e su una collinetta lì vicino si trova un tempio egizio: il Templo de Debod.

For food lovers there is a nice covered market: San Miguel Market, while for lovers of  art, Madrid is famous for many museums, the most important are three:

- The Prado: One of the most popular museums in the world, which contains many works of Velasquez for example Las Meninas and Goya for example La Maya Desnuda and Vestida and many more ...

- Museum of Reina Sofia: museum of modern art, important for the painting of Picasso: Guernica

- Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum: museum containing works from the private collection of the Thyssen- Bornemisza
