Hello everyone, today stop in Berlin, Germany's capital. A very beautiful city, constantly expanding and building.
Let's begin with the symbol of Berlin, the famous Brandenburg Gate, majestic, beautiful, central, the fulcrum of the city. From this point you can choose four directions and each of them will take you to a place to see. If you are in the same position in my picture above and go to the right you will come to the famous Parliament, the Reichstag, open daily from 8 to 24, the access is free, but you have to pre-book your visit to this site.  It's possible to visit the dome or the door with interior rooms (I unfortunately could only see the dome). It's free so I recommend you to see it once by day and one by night, perhaps at sunset, to have both views.

Ciao a tutti, oggi tappa a Berlino, la capitale della Germania. Una città molto bella, in continua espansione e costruzione.
Iniziamo con il simbolo di Berlino, la famosa Porta di Brandeburgo, maestosa, bellissima, fulcro centrale della città. Da cui potete scegliere quattro direzioni e ognuna di loro vi porterà ad un posto da vedere. Se siete nella mia stessa posizione nella foto qui sopra e proseguite verso destra arriverete al famoso Parlamento, il Reichstag, aperto ogni giorno dalle 8 alle 24. L'accesso è gratis, ma bisogna prenotare precedentemente la visita sul sito. E' possibile visitare la cupola oppure la cupola con sale interne (io sfortunatamente ho potuto vedere solo la cupola, in quel momento non si potevano vedere le sale). Essendo gratis vi consiglio di vederla una volta di giorno e una di notte, magari al tramonto, per avere entrambe le visuali.

If from the Brandenburg Gate you go towards the left you will find the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, 2711 of concrete pillars of different heights, said stems, on an undulating terrain, viable at any time, really well done, almost reminds a labyrinth but remember to show respect for this place, it is not a playground. Below there is the museum open from tuesday to sunday from 10 to 20 or depending on the time and it's free, if you want some more information let go visit.
If you still keep going on the road you will arrive to the famous Potsdam Platz with the Sony Center, a huge space with restaurants, cinemas, shops, I recommend to see it for the particular structure.

Se invece dalla porta di Brandeburgo vi dirigete verso sinistra troverete il Memoriale per gli ebrei assassinati d'Europa, 2711 pilastri di calcestruzzo di diversa altezza, dette steli, su un terreno ondulato, percorribile a qualsiasi ora, davvero ben fatto, ricorda quasi un labirinto, ma ricordatevi di mostrare rispetto per questo luogo, non è un parco giochi. Al di sotto si trova il museo aperto da martedì a domenica dalle 10 alle 20 o a seconda del periodo ed è gratis, se volete qualche informazioni in più fateci un salto.
Se poi procedete ancora sulla strada arriverete alla famosa Potsdam Platz con il Sony Center, un enorme spazio con ristoranti, cinema, negozi, secondo me da vedere per la particolare struttura.

If you go straight from the gate you enter in the park Grober Tiergarten, a huge park in the city center up to the Victory Column on which you can climb up and admire the park from above (there are 270 steps) at a cost of 3€, open from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 18:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 to 19 or otherwise depending on the season.

Se invece dalla porta proseguite dritto entrerete nel Parco Grober Tiergarten, un enorme parco nel centro della città fino ad arrivare alla Colonna della Vittoria su cui potete salire ed ammirare il parco dall'alto (sono 270 scalini) al costo di 3€, aperto da lunedì a venerdì dalle 9:30 alle 18:30 e il sabato e domenica dalle 9:30 alle 19 o diversamente a seconda della stagione.

If from the gate you will back off you will walk along the Unter den Linden (unfortunately when I went it was full of work) that takes you to Museum Island, an island in the true sense of the word, it consists of several museums and the church. I will show you a lot more photos in a separate post.
The main museums to see are: the Pergamonmuseum, famous for the Pergamon Altar (unfortunately when I went this part I and many others were closed to the public), the Altes Museum, the Alte Nationalgalerie, the Neues Museum and the Bode Museum, and don't forget the cathedral: Berlin Dom, from which you can see, after a lot of steps, the view from above. Note: many museums are closed on Monday.
I recommend the Berlin Card, which allows unlimited access to public transport and free admission to many museums and also saves you time by jumping the queues.

Se invece dalla porta farete marcia indietro percorrerete la Unter den Linden (sfortunatamente quando sono andata io era piena di lavori) che vi condurrà fino all'Isola dei Musei, un'isola nel vero senso della parola composta da diversi musei e dal Duomo. Vi mostrerò molte più foto in un post a parte.
I principali musei da vedere sono: il Pergamonmuseum, famoso per l'altare di Pergamo (sfortunatamente quando sono andata io questa parte e molte altre erano chiuse al pubblico), l'Altes Museum, il Alte Nationalgalerie, il Neues Museum e il Bode Museum, e non dimenticatevi il duomo: Berlin Dom, da cui potete ammirare, dopo tanti scalini, la vista dall'alto. Attenzione che molti musei sono chiusi al lunedì.
Vi consiglio la Berlin Card, che permette l'accesso illimitato ai mezzi pubblici e l'ingresso gratuito a molti musei e vi fa risparmiare anche tempo saltando le code.

Continuing from the island you can admire the Television Tower to admire even more from the city. It is opens everyday from 8 to 24 and costs 13€, outside is beautiful both day and night, but the view from the top, in my opinion, not worth it, especially if you don't stop for a drink.
And next to the tower there is the famous Alexander Platz, I don't understand why it is so famous, but from there you can take a train to the famous Berlin Wall or the East Side Gallery, very beautiful, full of graffiti, shame that some parts are fenced and while you are there admire the very special Oberbaum bridge.

Proseguendo dall'isola ammirerete la Torre della Televisione, per ammirare ancora più dall'alto la città. E' aperta tutti i giorni dalle 8 alle 24 e costa 13€, esternamente è molto bella sia di giorno che di notte, ma la vista da lassù, secondo me, non ne vale la pena, specialmente se non ti fermi a degustare un drink.
E accanto alla torre si trova la famosa Alexander Platz, che non capisco perchè sia così famosa, ma da lì potete prendere un treno fino al famoso Muro di Berlino o East Side Gallery, molto bello, pieno di graffiti, peccato che alcune parti siano recintate e nel mentre ammirare il ponte Oberbaum davvero particolare.

Not far from there you can see Checkpoint Charlie, an important checkpoint that separated the Soviet sector than the US.

And if you want not far from Berlin you can reach by train the city of Potsdam, admire the Sanssouci Palace (even only from outside), walk in the gardens and spend some time walking around the city, very pretty.
