Hello everyone, today I speak of the cruise in the Greek islands with MSC cruises, I start from Venice, then Bari, then Olympia, then Athens, Santorini, Corfu and finally Dubrovnik.

Venice: a beautiful city, many canals, gondolas, masks and pigeons, a very romantic city. It is particular because is on the sea, it is different from other cities. Important to see is the Rialto Bridge, the most beautiful bridge on the Grand Canal, Piazza San Marco with the Basilica of San Marco, which unfortunately is always under renovation, near the Ducal Palace, the Bell Tower and the Bridge of Sighs, the bridge that you had to walk from the Ducal Palace to reach the prisons. You can walk through the streets of the city, take a ride in a gondola, or take a boat to move from one place to another. Moreover you can take a boat and go to visit the island of Murano which is known for the jewellery and objects made with glass worked by blowing.

Ciao a tutti, oggi vi parlo della crociera nelle isole greche con MSC crociere, partiamo da Venezia, poi Bari, poi Olympia, poi Atene, Santorini, Corfù ed infine Dubrovnik.

Venezia: una città bellissima, tanti canali, gondole, maschere e piccioni, una città molto romantica. E' particolare essendo sul mare, è diversa dalle altre città. Di importante da vedere c'è il ponte di Rialto il ponte più bello su Canal Grande, Piazza San Marco con la Basilica di San Marco, che purtroppo è sempre in ristrutturazione, il Palazzo Ducale accanto, il Campanile e il ponte dei sospiri, il ponte che dovevi percorrere dal Palazzo Ducale per raggiungere le prigioni. Potete camminare tra le vie della città, fare un bel giro in gondola, oppure un giro in battello per spostarvi da un luogo ad un altro. Inoltre potete prendere un battello e andare a visitare anche l'isolotto su cui si trova Murano, conosciuta per i suoi gioielli e oggetti fatti con il vetro lavorato tramite soffiatura.

Bari: is a nice city to see, nothing special, but it is full of warmth and beauty, especially the cathedral.

Bari: è una città carina da vedere, niente di particolare, ma è piena di calore e bellezza, specialmente la cattedrale.

Olympia; is a city near Katakolon, important for its Greek ruins, the archaeological museum and the Olympics from which it derives its name. Today it is still the place where the Olympic torch turns on before starting his journey to the place where the Olympics are held

Olympia: città vicina a Katakolon, importante per le sue rovine greche, il museo archeologico e per le Olimpiadi da cui deriva il nome. Ancora oggi è il luogo dove si accende la torcia olimpica prima di iniziare il suo viaggio fino al luogo dove si tengono le Olimpiadi.

Athens is the capital of Greece. As Olympia is especially important for the ruins, the archaeological museum, but especially for the Acropolis where there is the famous Parthenon, very nice, but unfortunately on the top of a hill so it's a bit tiring to get there if it's hot, but it's worth it, because from the Acropolis you can see Athens from above. You can also see the center, a modern city, see the stadium where the Olympics were held in 2004 and see the Acropolis from below.

Atene: è la capitale della Grecia. Così come Olimpia è soprattutto importante per le rovine sparse un pò in tutta la città, il museo archeologico, ma soprattutto per l'Acropoli dove si trova il famoso Partenone, molto bello, ma purtroppo in cima ad una collina quindi è un pò faticoso arrivarci se fa caldo, ma ne vale la pena, anche perchè dall'Acropoli puoi ammirare Atene dall'alto. Potete poi vedere anche il centro della città più moderno, vedere lo stadio dove si sono svolte le Olimpiadi nel 2004 e ammirare l'Acropoli dal basso.

Santorini: is a beautiful island on which they were filmed many scenes of the film, for example, The sisterhood of the travelling pants. It's very particular, is a volcanic island, it is an archipelago of islands that form a crater of a volcano collapsed a little into the sea. It is characterized by white houses with blue dome, very famous.

Santorini: è una bellissima isola su cui sono state girate tante scene di film, per esempio 4 amiche ed un paio di Jeans. E' molto particolare, è un isola vulcanica, anzi è un arcipelago di isole che costituiscono un cratere di un vulcano un pò sprofondato nel mare. E' caratterizzata dalle sue case bianche con la cupola azzurra, molto famose.

Corfù: is a city not very big, but nice, is famous for a church, but unfortunately is a little bit far from the center, I went up to there by bike, it was an effort, an up and down, but there was a very nice view, as well as the town.

Corfù: una città non molto grande, ma carina, è famosa per una chiesa, ma purtroppo è un pò distante dal centro, io sono andata fino a lì in bici, è stata una fatica, un sali e scendi, però era molto bella la vista, lo scenario, così come la cittadina.

Dubrovnik: the old town is beautiful, especially the walls that surround it, 2 miles up and down as you can go by foot, where you can see the city from above and see the difference of colors of the roof tiles (new or old) for the war that had also hit this city.

Dubrovnik: il centro storico è molto bello, soprattutto le mura che lo circondano, 2 km di sali e scendi che puoi percorrere a piedi, dal quale puoi vedere la città dall'alto e vedere la diversità di colore delle tegole a seconda se sono nuove o vecchie per via della guerra che aveva colpito anche questa città
