Hello today I speak of New York, a beautiful, unforgettable city, like being in a dream or better in a movie (TV series). In every place there are things to see, moments to live and enjoy.
In the first moment you arrive there, you will begin to look around, you will make a thousand photos of simple skyscrapers and a smile on your face if you want to see this city from all your life, like me.
The most important things to see are located on the island of Manhattan, but also the surrounding areas are very nice and different, especially Brooklyn, on the other side of the bridge.
Manhattan is full of famous places and buildings, let's start from Times Square the main square, illuminated by night and by day, a meeting point for thousands of people at New Year's Eve for the countdown to the new year, full of posters and television advertising, magnificent.

Ciao oggi vi parlo di New York, una città bellissima, indimenticabile, sembra di essere in un sogno o meglio in un film (telefilm). In ogni luogo ci sono cose da vedere, momenti da vivere ed assaporare.
Nel primo momento che arriverete lì, incomincerete a guardarvi attorno, ma soprattutto in alto se non siete abituati ai grattacieli, farete mille foto a semplici grattacieli e avrete il sorriso stampato in faccia se come me non vedevate l'ora di vedere questa città.
Le cose più importanti da vedere si trovano nell'isola di Manhattan, ma anche le zone circostanti sono molto carine e diverse, specialmente Brooklyn, dall'altro lato del ponte.
Manhattan è piena di luoghi ed edifici famosi, partiamo da Times Square la piazza più importante di tutti, illuminata sia di notte che di giorno, punto di incontro di migliaia di persone a Capodanno per il conto alla rovescia per l'anno nuovo, piena di manifesti televisivi e pubblicità, magnifica.

Another very famous place is Central Park, a huge park in the center, surrounded by buildings. It is not just a park where people go to walk, run or bike (you can rent bikes), but it is full of places that for sure you had seen in films such as the statue of Balto, the Zoo, some bridges, a small castle: Belvedere castle, Bethesda fountain, the access to some museums and more =)

Un altro punto molto famoso è Central Park, un'enorme parco in centro, circondato da edifici. Non è solo un parco dove le persone vanno a camminare, correre o in bici (potete affittare le bici), ma è pieno di posti che di sicuro avrete già visto nei film come la statua di Balto, lo Zoo, i ponti, un piccolo castello: il Belvedere Castle, la fontana Bethesda, l'accesso a vari musei e molto altro =)

Another milestone is the Empire State Building and the Top of the Rock, the latter in the area of Rockefeller Center, where from both, you can enjoy a spectacular view. I recommended to see one during the day and one at night/sunset, to see New York from the various points of view and during various stages of the day =)

Un ulteriore tappa fondamentale sono l'Empire State Building e il Top of the Rock, quest'ultimo nella zona del Rockfeller Center dove da entrambi, si può godere di una vista spettacolare. Vi consiglio di vederne uno durante il giorno e uno verso la sera/tramonto, per ammirare New York dall'alto dai vari punti di vista e durante le varie fasi del giorno =)

Then there is the symbol of New York: the Statue of Liberty, I imagined bigger, it really is not very high. To access to it you have to book, especially if you want to go to the crown, in fact you have to book about 3 months before, there are few tickets for the day (about 200) it's very small, while for the base is much simpler, but still need to book. To get on Liberty Island you have to take a ferry from Battery Park and after a stop at the Statue of Liberty, the tour continues on Ellis Island, the island where the immigrants stay before landing in America, where there is the Museum of Immigration.

Successivamente c'è il simbolo di New York: la Statua della Libertà, me la immaginavo più grande, in realtà non è molto alta. Per accedervi dovete prenotare, specialmente se volete andare nella corona, infatti devi prenotare circa 3 mesi prima, ci sono pochi posti al giorno (circa 200) essendo davvero piccola, mentre per il basamento è molto più semplice, ma comunque bisogna prenotare. Per arrivare su Liberty Island bisogna prendere un traghetto da Battery Park e dopo la tappa alla statua della libertà, il tour continua su Ellis Island, l'isola dove stavano gli immigrati prima di sbarcare in America, dove si trova il Museo di Immigrazione.

Another important step: the Brooklyn Bridge which connects Brooklyn to Manhattan, very nice. You can walk or ride a bike (also here you can rent bikes), and while you're there take a trip to Brooklyn and go see the skyline of Manhattan from a another point of view.

Altra tappa importantissima: il ponte di Brooklyn che collega Brooklyn a Manhattan, molto bello. Percorribile a piedi o in bici ( anche qui potete affittare le bici) e mentre ci siete fatevi un giro a Brooklyn e andate a vedere lo Skyline di Manatthan da un altro punto di vista.

Another stop is the Museums: Natural History Museum, a night at the museum, very nice, then there's MOMA, the Museum of Modern Art, the MET, the Metropolitan Museum, the new museum Ground Zero dedicated to the attack of the Twin Towers, the Guggenheim Museum and many others, but these are the main =)

Altra tappa sono i Musei: quello di Storia Naturale, di una notte al museo, molto bello, poi c'è il MOMA, il museo di arte moderna, il MET, il Metropolitan Museum, il nuovo museo di Ground Zero dedicato all'attentato delle Torri Gemelle, il Guggenheim Museum e molti altri, ma questi sono quelli principali =)

Another stage is certainly the area where there were the Twin Towers; the Ground Zero, where instead of the towers you will find these two huge fountains with written above the names of all the dead people in this tragic accident, really touching and the Freedom Tower.

Un'altra tappa è sicuramente la zona dove c'erano le Torri Gemelle: il Ground Zero, dove al posto delle torri troverete queste due immense fontane con scritti sopra i nomi di tutti i morti in quel tragico incidente, davvero commovente e la Freedom Tower.

Next to this area, there is the area of Wall Street, Trinity Church, Battery Park, where start the ferries, and various neighborhoods: Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy, Greenwich Village.

As you walk in the center you can also admire the Chrysler Building, a skyscraper very special but you can not visit, and while you are there, I recommend you to see the station, the Central Station that you have seen in many movies.

Mentre camminerete in centro potrete ammirare anche il Chrysler Building, un grattacielo molto particolare che però non si può visitare e mentre sarete lì vicino vi consiglio di vedere la stazione, la Central Station che avrete visto in molti film.

For shopping lovers, you should definitely walk on the Fifth Avenue, where you will find the best shops: Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci .... but also H&M or Zara, than Abercrombie to take a picture with models and finally a jump from Tiffany. Otherwise there are two main shopping centers: Macy's and Bloomingdales.

To eat is full of McDonald's, but if you like Italian food you should go to Eataly next to the Flatiron Building, or there is great food at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square.

In the center, there are also many other things to see, how the New York Public Library, the Radio Music Hall, the ONU, various famous hotels such as the Waldorf Astoria, the Plaza Hotel, and more.
